I have an AP in the next room over and it is broadcasting 4 ESSIDs.

    ESSID1

    ESSID2

    ESSID3

    ESSID4

1-3 are broadcasting at a strong signal (-45)

4 is broadcasting at a weak signal (-80)

They are all broadcasting from the same AP as far as I know. I checked the VAP and it is in the AP group that the AP is in. I just rebooted the AP and still the same effect.

Any ideas on what could be going on here?

We have a 3600-US controller (AP is on the local), AP-105

    Running 6.3.1.5 currently.

    Thanks.

Correction: There are 5 ESSIDs, and 4 of them are strong signal (-45) and 1 is weak (-80). The 5th ESSID was hidden. That one is not a problem.

    RESOLVED:

That SSID profile was tied to a named VLAN pool. However, the named VLAN pool was not mapped to any VLANs. Added the VLAN numbers and it started broadcasting. The ESSID I was seeing was coming from another AP after finding the BSSID MAC address.
