Hello All,

Can anyone say whether an HP ProCurve (Aruba) 2530 (J9772A) Switch can be used as the Controller for the APIN-0214 (JW168A) Access Point? This is a Campus AP not Instant. Thank you.

Hey,

it is not possible to use a switch as a mobility controller. If you use the instant mode you do not need a controller at all.

The JW168A is an AP-214 and dont have instant capabilities. For this type AP your need a Aruba controller like a Aruba 7005 or better.
