The 3400 controller supports 64 WAPs, but would putting >32 of the new AP-225s (running over 1000baseT) overwhelm the 1000BaseT interface of the 3400? We've tested single 11n clients pushing over 200Mbps through the AP225 and 11ac clients pushing over 400Mbps. Do the WAP counts on the 3X00 controllers extend to the new AP225s ?

Mostly you are limited by what is supplying what your client is getting to.  If you have a 100 meg internet connection, don't worry about it.  If you have a single email server that is on a gigabit ethernet connection; don't worry about it.  If all of your switch uplinks are gigabit ethernet daisy-chained together, don't worry about it.  As more AC clients and access points are released, we will get a better sense of what throughput we can expect in a mixed environment.  For now....don't worry about it...
