    Can you get console access?

    - Make sure that all your VLANs and Port are trusted

    - You should consider disabling STP on the controller too and allow the upstream switch do the STP

Does this controller have high CPU usage?

    "show cpuload"

    "show cpuload current"

    Try restarting the controller
Did you removed the IP address of VLAN 1?

Actually , found the issue !

We were authenticating against a radius server instead of internal auth.

    THat caused the time lag.

Thank you for all your input eveyrone !

    Is this a new install?

Have you got RADIUS auth enabled?
