345's and 225's

    Hello,

     

    I am wondering about putting 345's with 335's and 225's? I have 335's and 225's at the moment and would like to add 345's but I don't know if they will work with my 225's. Do you know if 345's and 225's will work on the same network?

    The short answer is yes, they can work together. Is this a controller or Instant deployment? The 345 is supported from instant and ArubaOS release 8.3

    Hello,
    Thank you for taking the time to help. I am sorry I should have put that info in from the beginning. We are using Instant.

    You should run at least instant version 8.3.
    If this is a locally managed instant cluster, make sure that the new IAP's are running the same release as the 225 before joining the same cluster.

    If managed through Airwave or Central the VC will redirect the IAP to download the software from Airwave / Central. If Airwave is used make sure you have uploaded the firmware files to Airwave.
