AOS 6.3.1.11 was withdrawn and TAC said that this was due to a 'serious issue', and should upgrade to 6.3.1.12.

I see now 6.3.1.12 is available, but there is no mention in the release notes of what this issue was.

I upgraded a customer to .11 last weekend and it all went pretty smoothly.  I've not heard anything from them so assume all is good, but I am obvioulsy concerned.

Anyone from Aruba can shed some light on what the issue was?

Is this by any chance the same bug that 6.4.2.1 was withdrawn over?

It's best left to Aruba to control what information is released, to who, and when on this one.  I know that's tough because it makes it hard to assess whether the customer will want the fix ASAP or not even care, and that will depend on details of their setup; more information might be available by talking to your internal contacts, and it certainly cannot hurt to send them a note to let them know which of your customers are running the affected versions.

Thanks, I'm just glad to have caught it before it was out there on more controllers, and before a bad actor did.
