Hi there, we are going to buy a 7024 MC and are curious - if we can use this MC as a Core Switch - because we will use 3 edgeswitches in this venue. Note we only use 16 AP's and will have max 1000 concurrent users.

Is this possible to use the 7024 as Core Switch as well - has it enough capacity?

You could use it as a core switch for routing, yes.  The question is, is there anything specific or special that you intend to do, besides typical routing?

Great, it is normally used for standard routing, act as a core switch with 3 more edge switches connected to it - at those 3 edge switches 6 APs are connected each.

Yes it can, but you should test in the lab to make sure it applied specifically to your use case.
