Hi there, a question in order to upgrade to 8.0.1.0 arubaOS.

Can we restore a config (from current 6.4.3 version) into aurbaOS 8.0.10? Or shoul dit be cionfigured from scratch after an upgrade?

What are advantages of 8.0.1.0 above 6.5.x?

And how to upgrade best way?

    Hi,

There's an AOS 8 migration guide. This should answer a few of your questions.

    Honestly,

You should start from scratch to see how things are different.   The link here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS/8.x/Default.htm#ReleaseNotes/Features/Features8.0.x.htm#Features

    ...details what is different.

Please read the release notes carefully, because a VM is required for full functionality.

That link does not work.  Is there another link to help with the migration to 8.X

A good starting point is the AOS 8.3.x docs:

    https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_83_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm

There's a section on migrating, as well as new features.
