Has anyone had issues with getting a pair of 7205 Controllers connected to a Cisco Nexus core via Twinax DAC cables? Trying to measure the risk vs. saving 5k-ish in cost for 10GB-SR optics.

Which vendor's DAC cables are you using? That is an important data point.

I was planning on going with HPE Aruba, DAC-SFP-10GE-3M.

I can go another way if it is more stable.

    Hi!

It´ll probably work, I do personally however prefer to have the vital parts of the controller under proper support to avoid any headaches and blame-games later on. Hence, I buy the Aruba ones.

    Cheers,
