    Hi all,

I have 2 Aruba Controller 7220. I set them as master and the begining. Then I give them different priorty.  I want to use them active-passive. But, when I refresh sometimes I see master controller sometimes slave controller.

What can be the problem. Any idea ?

    Thanks,

    Best Regards

What ip address are you using to reach them, the vrrp?

On the commandline of the master and the backup, type "show vrrp" to see who has control of the VRRP...

I am using the lates version of ArubaOS.

The master IP address is 172.32.32.3

The backup IP address is 172.32.32.4

The VRRP IP address is 172.32.32.2

When I refresh the login screen at the start up sometimes it shows master description name, when I refresh again It shows backup description name. When I log on when "logon screen shows backup description name" the session throws me when I browse any menu in 1 minute

I mean when I type "show vrrp" Its changes.

I set the priorty properly. For master 110, for backup 100

    Thanks

    Best Regards

What is the VRRP ID?  Make sure you don't have an HSRP group or other network devices with the same VRRP/group id. on the same vlan.

    Hi,

The problem we found that the controller has problem on 10Gb ports. Therefore, we was loosing packet and the master switch was changing.

    Thanks,

    Best Regards
