We have a new 7220 Controller and we are generally a Cisco house for routers and switches. We recently discovered that something in our new controller is causing our routes to reconverge and don't know where to look. Any thoughts?

Do you have OSPF enabled on your controller?  Disable it...

All of our routers are setup to use OSPF and all of the 7220 controllers are as well. Can you tell me more about why I need to disable OSPF on the controllers?

Without knowing anything about your problem besides what you typed, If you have a problem with it, disable it.  Put in static routes and then put the OSPF configs interface by interface until you find out what the problem is.  There is nothing wrong in general with OSPF, but it has a very specific use case and in most situations not necessary.
