    Hi all,

We have enabled the highthrouput on a controller and the band steering too. We notice that performance are reduced when we are on n Mode. There are no interference in the environment.

    Any idea?

    Best Regards.

    We need to know:

    - What client are you testing with

    - Are you using encryption, and if so, what type

    - What method are you using to test performance

Since wireless is a contention-based media, it all depends on how many users are in that VLAN, any interference you might have, if the current client drivers are up to date or have been tuned correctly.

There are quite a few things that affect performance.

There are quite a few things to check.  Please look at the thread here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/802-11n-Basics-RF-Design-and/Maximizing-802-11n-Performance/td-p/21886
