We are configuring AMON to AMP with ip 192.168.16.62 

Is this all the config necessary - we do not need DTLS encr.

Have you enabled Prefer AMON over SNMP within AirWave configuration? You can view if AirWave is processing AMON information via the System -> Peformance page.

Thanks for the fast response.

When I click prefer amon button the devices fall from 150 to 18.

Lots of devices are not speaking amon - this should prefer amon, but will use snmp still ?

Do the devices matchup with what you see on your controller? What AOS &
AirWave versions are you running? Don't forget it will take (depending on
the poll time you have configured...) a while for AirWave to poll the
devices.

AMP =  8.2.8.2

 

MM/2 7010 = 8.4.0.0_68230

 

When prefer AMON is enabled we experience the following issues(attached)

CLient count fluctuates up and down. In the and you can see it stabilized as I turned SNMP only. 13:45

in Airwave, you should be able to go to System> Performance> Amon Statistics to see if you have any AMON coming in.  You should leave Prefer Amon OFF for now.
