    Hi,

iam facing some "new" questions with AOS 8.3:

I've setup a VMC Cluster and configured my VRRP beteween them. Say

    VMCa 10.1.1.1

    VMCb 10.1.1.2

    VRRP 10.1.1.3

Now i want to cluster them with the MM 8.3 (CoA ready).

i configure now the parts (User Guide: Page 329) on Gui: Add a new Cluster under the Group Level. Insert one Controller IP with "Group 1" VRRP-VLAN (same as other adresses) and a NEW additionally VRRP IP. The same with the other controller and again one NEW IP in the "Group 1". Then iam adding the MDs to that cluster Group.

If iam finished the new Cluster looks like this:

    lc-cluster group-profile "ArubaOS-LAN"
    controller 10.1.1.4 priority 128 mcast-vlan 0 vrrp-ip 10.127.60.6 vrrp-vlan 1 group 1
    controller 10.1.1.5 priority 128 mcast-vlan 0 vrrp-ip 10.127.60.7 vrrp-vlan 1 group 1

    (ArubaOS_LAN1) [MDC] #show lc-cluster group-membership

Cluster Enabled, Profile Name = "ArubaOS-LAN"
    Redundancy Mode On
Active Client Rebalance Threshold = 50%
Standby Client Rebalance Threshold = 75%
    Unbalance Threshold = 5%
    AP Load Balancing: Enabled
Active AP Rebalance Threshold = 50%
Active AP Unbalance Threshold = 5%
Active AP Rebalance AP Count = 30
Active AP Rebalance Timer = 1 minutes
    Cluster Info Table
    ------------------
Type IPv4 Address Priority Connection-Type STATUS
    ---- --------------- -------- --------------- ------
    self 10.1.1.4 128 N/A ISOLATED (Leader)
    peer 10.1.1.5 128 N/A SECURE-TUNNEL-NEGOTIATING

    (ArubaOS_LAN2) [MDC] #show lc-cluster group-membership

Cluster Enabled, Profile Name = "ArubaOS-LAN"
    Redundancy Mode On
Active Client Rebalance Threshold = 50%
Standby Client Rebalance Threshold = 75%
    Unbalance Threshold = 5%
    AP Load Balancing: Enabled
Active AP Rebalance Threshold = 50%
Active AP Unbalance Threshold = 5%
Active AP Rebalance AP Count = 30
Active AP Rebalance Timer = 1 minutes
    Cluster Info Table
    ------------------
Type IPv4 Address Priority Connection-Type STATUS
    ---- --------------- -------- --------------- ------
    peer 10.1.1.4 128 N/A SECURE-TUNNEL-NEGOTIATING
    self 10.1.1.5 128 N/A ISOLATED (Leader)

    What didn't work:

    1) The VRRPs are not pingable.

    2) This Command won't configure the MDs vrrps -> There is only one .3 up.

    3) MY Question is if i got more differen Clusters in that VLAN what can i do to separate them ?

Thanks for Feedback - maybe one copy of a successful Config would be nice.

Thank you cjoseph ! You are absoulutly right! It was the Forged Transmissions checkbox, which was disabled in this new Subnet.

For Question3: If i have multiple Clusters in that Subnet i use the "Group1-12 Settings" in the Cluster Config to separate them ?

    Thanks DN
