    Hi everyone,

I faced many issues in AOS VMC 8.2.0.2 B62929 in my Lab. I tried to install for twice.

    I have 3 VLANs (1, 150, 160).

Controller IP and Mangament are in VLAN 150.

Port is Trunk and Native VLAN is 1.

AOS, AP, PEF licenses are installed. AP-325 joined the controller .

    1. Module Layer 2/3 is busy. While only one client obtaining IP address from the controller act as DHCP server. For a minute, the controller reboot itself. Sometimes, it happens after use cmd #show ip interface brief.

    2. I do not know that does it mean. Please see the screen capture below.

    3. The controller cannot be shutdown. Please see the screen capture below.

    Software details belowArubaVMC-20180108-Info.JPG

Please help me to solve. Thanks.

I would open a TAC case if this is being deployed on a supported platform. What is this deployed on, what are the ESX or KVM server specs, etc?

    Hi Howard,

I deployed on ESXi 6.0 on Nutanix.

    Specs. on host

    -CPU 20 x 2.799 GHz

    -Memory 262 GB

    -Storage a lot.

For VMC, 4 vCPU, 8GB of Memory.

So you could certainly try to open a TAC case, but I don't think that would be supported or it's not something that we would have QA'd or tested. Nutanix kind of does things with it's network fabric differently than a pure ESX host, so it's hard to know if that is related to this or if it's something else. For example, if the ESX host/hardware has multiple network interconnects, those MUST be using DvSwitch and LAG (not just nic teaming) to handle virtualized network switches (which is what the controllers are), and I don't know how much of that is exposed in the Nutanix interface to be configurable.

What Nutanix product are you running this under?

    Hi Howard,

    Nutanix is hypercoverged server.

I setup this for Lab and demonstration. So I am not sure I can open case or not.

    Please advise.

Just to clarify - are you running this on Nutanix/VMware, or on a pure Nutanix AHV system?  I'm running the Nutanix/VMware option and it's working fine in my lab.  The AHV configuration is basically a KVM variant, though, which would put you in a totally different scenario.

It is running on VMware on Nutanix server.

Is it according to Virtual Disk Format? It is now using Thin provision.
