In order to accommodate our new 303H APs, I'm looking to upgrade our 7220 controllers to AOS8. Our two controllers (master/standby) are running 6.4.3.11. Is there a preferred path to v8? I have a few maintenance windows to work with so I can go to 6.4.4 and 6.5 first if it helps.

303H is only currently supported on 6.5.2.x

The spec sheet says ArubaOS™ 6.5.2.0/8.2.0.0.

On the path to 6.5.2 then, can I upgrade directly to that version or should I go through 6.4.4?

You can upgrade directly to AOS 6.5.2.x from ArubaOS 6.0.1.0 or later version of ArubaOS 6.x
