    Not sure if its me or the way I have the VMs configured lol When I enable VRRP 70 on MM-1 the VIP is pingable sometimes. If I disable VRRP 70 on MM-1 and enable VRRP 70 on MM-2 it is the same. Pingable sometimes but then stops.

    I currently have both VRRP instance in shutdown but below is the settings.

    MM-1
    Virtual Router 70:
        Description primary-master
        Admin State DOWN, VR State INIT
        IP Address 10.1.2.30, MAC Address 00:00:5e:00:01:46, vlan 10
        Priority 200, Advertisement 1 sec, Preemption Disable Delay 0
        Auth type PASSWORD, Auth data: aruba123
        tracking is not enabled
    MM-2
    Virtual Router 70:
        Description Standby-master
        Admin State UP, VR State MASTER
        IP Address 10.1.2.30, MAC Address 00:00:5e:00:01:46, vlan 10
        Priority 100, Advertisement 1 sec, Preemption Disable Delay 0
        Auth type PASSWORD, Auth data: aruba123
        tracking is not enabled

    In VMWare did you enable to accept promiscuous mode and forged transmit?
