AP-110 Series AP connected on EX Juniper switch. No controller

    I have a 110 series Aruba ap connected directly to a juniper switch. we do not have a controller. I want to provision internet but the Aruba Instant SSID does not show up on wifi list. Please help, i'm new to all this.

    Is it an IAP-115 or an AP-115?

    It is an AP-115 (Model APIN0115). There is no DHCP on the network. There is a tp-link AP which is easy to setup but we got the Aruba just to extend to another office area.

    the AP-115 is controller-based. You will need a controller.

     

    The controllerless model is the IAP-115.

    Thanks. So there's no way to configure or use it without a controller?

    Correct. If it's a new AP, you should request a change order for the IAP variant.

    access point it got IP address form DHCP server or fix up address ?

    No DHCP server, I want to configure a static IP.

    on the switch lldp neighbors show
