We just recieved 4 AP 134's. We are trying to get them working with our 3200 controller. I have confirmed they are not the Arube Instant versions. Our 124's, 105's, and older 70's find the controller and show up as unprovissioned. Have I missed something with this model?
Make sure you have enough licenses :
show ap license-usage
show licenses
Also console into the AP to see what's going on.
Make sure is able to get an IP address
Are these 134s brand new or used? Have you purged the config if they are used (requires a console cable)? What code version on the controller.
I have plenty of licenses and it is pulling a good AP. They are brand new radios with no configs. Our Controller is running 5.0.4.7.
Seth is right, in order for you to support 135 you need 6.x
There are only 12 currently. I have licensing for up to 28. I was under the impression that our 3200's could handle up to 250 radios.
No...the 3200 can only support 32 APs. Plus on that platform, you need the extra memory upgrade to support our later codes. Sorry you were told wrong information.
So then these 134's are useless to me?
No...you can upgrade to the latest 6.1.x code version which is supported by BOTH the 134 and 3200 controller. 6.2 and 6.3 requires the memory upgrade.
Updating to 6.1 allows me to provision the AP's. Now for some reason I cant seem to get greater than 54G speeds.
Wow! That was quick. OK. Under the ssid profile, you need to enable HT in the HT Profile.
That worked. Thank you for all your help.
Since you're on 6.1...enjoy the Dashboard added in that version! You will like it.
