Wireless Access

This is more of an FYI for anyone who ordered a 200 series AP and is not running 6.4.3.x code yet.  Unless I missed the tech bulletin stating otherwise, the current product brochure states clearly that the AP-200 series radios support mesh, but my sales rep confirmed that they do not until 6.4.3.x code.  Pretty frustrating as I bought AP-204's months ago with the premise to use them in a small campus mesh extension.  Now I am scrambling to meet a 2 day deadline and use other AP's that are for a different install.  Was there a communication breakdown between engineering and marketing here?

there is a beta code , but you can not use it in prodcution environement :)

It's up to the customer/site to run 6.4.3-beta or not. If you have a spare controller you can run 6.4.3-beta on the spare and home the 204s to the temp controller runn 6.4.3. Our apologies for not having the code ready to support mesh in production code, but it's coming very soon.

We will try the beta code on our test controller to get us by.  Thanks for the advice!

there certainly was / is, even now the spec sheets still promise this for Q3 2014.
