    Hi,

    Shell I need to implement the Ethernet over GRE on existing AP205 with L2 network. AP205 support or not?

    Please share the Ethernet over GRE concept on Aruba.

    Thank you.

    Not sure what you're asking.

    Aruba campus APs will build GRE tunnels back to their mobility controller.

    I configure the AP205 with stand-alone mode on existing l2 network. So, I need to deploy the Ethernet over GRE function as our customer requires as below.

    1. AP connected with L2 network to WMG using EoGRE (Ethernet over GRE) *In case of user traffic not pass-through WLC.
    AP-----()____EoGRE____()-----WMG

    2. User traffic pass-through WLC *In case of WLC connects EoGRE (Ethernet over GRE)
    AP-----WLC-----()____EoGRE____()-----WMG

    GRE is used for campus APs operating in tunnel.

    IPSec will be used for management/control traffic when in bridge mode.

    Thanks Tim Cappalli.

    As you explanation, It's not possible to encap "Ethernet over GRE" on the VLAN data between AP205 and WMG(Juniper gateway)?

    This would be the function of a controller.
