Is there any secret to programming the Ethernet 1 and 2 ports? We installed a couple and were thinking of using the ethernet ports for some of our employees laptops but we can't even get a packet from the AP. The wireless part of the AP is working perfectly... Any suggestions?

    Thanks

Did you configure the interfaces in the AP section of the group configuration?

Are you using it in IAP or Campus mode ?

    Hi,

That is not a secret :-)

You need to configure the wired-port-profile and wired-ap-profile for the enet port.

    Thanks,

We have it set to IAP mode. We have an AP group specifically for these APs and under the the group is where the Ethernet interface 2 port configuration settings are.

What specifically is not working for you?

And what are you trying to accomplish ?

We have a LAN jack in an office that would like to also have wireless. We bought an AP-205H. We would like to install the AP on the electrical box and use the eithernet ports for her desktop. The wireless connectivity works fine but neither of the ethernet ports are working. We programmed them to be a bridge with access mode set..
