Curious, any issues with mixing 802.11ac and 802.11ac wave 2 APs in the same RF space? I know there are small difference, but my main concern is the MU-MIMO support on 315 that is not on 215. Any gotcha's I should know about?

If you do not have nu-mimo clients, you should not really be concerned, BUT it is a best practice to have uniform hardware in the same RF footprint, just in case.

in my scenario, would it just be safe to disable mu-mimo and beamforming? is that configured in the RF profile?

I do not know, but it is a best practice not to mix capabilities in the same RF space.  Will it cause an issue to leave it on?...Who wants to find out when the access points are already mounted?
