    Hi,

Can someone provide a link to the AP-220-MNT-W2 datasheet please? It is the secure mount kit for the AP-220 family.

    Regards,

    Shane

Aruba does not create datasheets for mount kits, but would typically be able to share the installation guide. This particular mount is not shipping yet (expected to start shipping in July), and the IG is not yet available.

Functionality and basic operation is similar to AP-130-MNT-W2. IG for that one is attached.

    Thanks,

    /Onno

    Thanks Onno,

    That is very helpful.

Are there best practices for terminating the outlets to these mounts? The IG appears to show a single fly lead reticulation cut out

(at the back of the kit) which would be blocked when mounting on an exposed slab.

    Any advice much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Shane

The mounts have openings on the side that can be used the feed the cable when the mount is attached to a flat surface (instead of an electrical/data wall box).

Note that the depth of the mount is limited and that the use of crimped on connectors is preferred over molded on ones, since there's not much space to allow for a large bend radius.

    Thanks,

    /Onno

    Thnks again.

I now see the Note about the gang box:

"If installing this kit on a electrical gang box, you may use a different set of screw holes for mounting. Which screw holes you use will depend on the electrical gang box in your installation."

Have Aruba indicated if the AP-220's will mount on a AP-130-MNT-W2 given their similar shapes? I'm midway through a few buildings and the mounts are to be installed by a subcontractor. The 220's comming out have complicated my plans a bit.

    Regards,

    Shane

The AP-22x will not fit on the AP-130-MNT-W2, but the AP-220-MNT-W2 mounts have the same mount hole pattern/template as the AP-130-MNT-W2.

    Thanks,

    Onno,

If we are looking to mount an AP-215 to a single electrical gangbox, would the AP-220-MNT-W2 be the correct mounting kit?  If so, is there any documentation on this?

    Thank you for your help!
