AP-365 Installation Options

    Hello,

      I am looking for options to install the ap-365 on the outside of a home. Important aspect is this needs to be aesthetically pleasing. Electrical will be pulled to the location in a junction box. 

     

    I was looking at Oberon's 3001-00 as an option to contain everything. Any idea on how much dB loss with this?

     

    Any other ideas would be much appreciated.

    You probably should ask Oberon for an exact number. In the datasheet, they mention: "cover which is virtually transparent to wireless signals.", so I would not be too worried about that.

     

    I would imagine that if you were to design an AP enclosure, that providing as low attenuation as possible would be one of the more important design criteria.
