    HI,

I am using an AP-367 to do surveys and cant get it to broadcast without the uplink. I have set it up as standalone but dont have the option "can be used without uplink"  in the wlan settings.

How can i force it to broadcast without the uplink?

I have firmware version 6.5.4.3_61959 running on the AP

In InstantOS 6.5.4.x the feature is now called Out of service
(OOS) and you will see this under the WLAN Settings.

Enable or disable the SSID based on the following OOS states of the Instant AP:
    n VPN down
    n Uplink down
    n Internet down
    n Primary uplink down

The network will be out of service when selected event occurs and the SSID is enabled or disabled as per the configuration settings applied.

Don't forget to set a static IP as well for the IAP and to also Enforce an Uplink (System > Uplink > Enforce Uplink: Ethernet).

    Hi

I am running an IAP cluster with multiple APs.

Is this setting enforced per AP, so if one AP has a broken uplink it will disable the SSIDs?

    Also what is the difference:

n Uplink down -> which one
n Internet down -> which IP/DNS is pinged at which interval?
    n Primary uplink down -> ??

What i want to avoid is that the SSID is totaly disabled if only some of the APs have problems.

    Best,

    Thomas

Your scenario is different. Please start a new thread for more visibility and to avoid confusion with this original topic (site survey mode with an isolated AP-367).
