without apparent reason, 3 access points at same location, "stopped working". The correct SSIDs were not broadcasted.
Topology: MM/MD

AOS: 8.5.0.7_74786 (MM)
We found out that the wrong ap-group was assigned and did a re-provision to correct this.
BUT we want to know what's the root cause of this behaviour.
What we have done so far:
- open Aruba TAC
- checked controller(s) techsupport logs
- checked MM audit trail
- checked if there is an AP regroup config (There is no AP regroup config)
- checked if there is an assignment in the whitelist-db cpsec (APs are not whitelisted any ap-group)
No config changes or errors were seen...
Aruba TAC:
„If we are looking for an RCA, we need the tech support logs collected during the issue.”
Is it possible that the APs loaded a previous configuration for some reason e.g. AP Reboot, AP power loss, AP failover …, and thus configured the wrong AP group?
Do you have any other ideas?
Many thanks in advance for any reply!
