    Hi Guys,

Brand new out of the box controller Model: Aruba7010,Version: 6.4.1.0,Compiled: 2014-06-12 at 03:48:45 PDT (build 44233) by p4build. Loaded one access points before loading the AP licenses. Disconnected and purged the AP. Loaded the AP licenses on the controller, configured the networking elelments as required. Created a new AP-group with the defaults set for the radio profiles etc. Created my SSID and linked to ap-group. Plug in the AP, gets dhcp and all that. Provision the AP to the AP-group and reboot. AP comes up and then immediatly goes into airmonitor. Same when i provision it to default. The mode on the radio profiles are set to ap-mode. Anyone experienced this issue. Could it be becasue the AP was loaded in the system before there were actual licenses loaded on it so by default it becomes a AM and stays that way. Would appriciate your help on this.

What is the AP model and what is your regulatory domain?  You should update the controller to the latest code.

REGdomain is Africa or south africa. Will update the switch and factory reset and try again.

you do not need to factory reset.  Just upgrade the controller software.
