    New AP210 (214/215)  3x3 MIMO

    AP205 2x2 MIMO

Just trying to figure out where this can be positioned.

I believe the 215 fits where the 115 fits, medium to high density, 225 very-high density

    205 low density.

    Cheers

Don`t know the price. I can only assume it will replace the 135 so $1,095 US list price

You are correct.  The 210 series falls between the 200 and 220 series 802.11ac APs with regards to price and performance.    The 210 series is a 3x3:3SS that will suit medium density/high performance deployments.    It has the extra stream as compared to the 200 series but falls short of the overall peformance of the 220 series.     And as noted, the 210 only has a single Ethernet interface.

    Chris

Any advantage of getting a 115 rather than a 215? besides saving 100 bucks per AP?

    Cheers

Will the full portfolio of ac access points that are now offered, it doesn’t make sense to buy an 11n access point in most situations.

Agreed Tim. Thanks all for chiming in.

Instant version I suppose in a few months?

    Hi Tim,

I agree with you and the only 802.11N APs that will be selling will be the AP103 or AP103H.

    I feel the same...

I do thing that the APS that would be selling of the one with 802.11n technology will be the ones that you mentioned and also the RAPS as well.

I wonder if any 80211ac RAP is coming out any time soon???

    Cheers

I guess it should be in the roadmap for the RAP to have 802.11AC.

WIth the emergence of AP205 and 215, AP115 sure have a short life span as compared to it's peers.

Found something that may be useful for positioning:-

    Capture.JPG

AP215 can have full 3X3 MIMO 802.11AC speed by using 802.3af standard power.
