Access to Aruba Central

    ¡Hi Experts!

     

    I have a question. If I have a cluster of 9 access points with 1 Virtual Controller, is it necessary that each access point has access to the internet with the ports opened in my firewall so that it connects with Aruba Central, or I must give access to the internet with ports open only to Virtual Controller?

    I can confirm that the 3 Instant Access Points in my cluster are all accessing the web on port 443 (HTTPS) to the same IP addresses which are certainly Aruba Central.

    I've had a firewall rule in place to block the 2 slave IAPs access outbound on 443 for 27 minutes now and can confirm that they are still showing as online in Central. I'll keep looking in to this.
