Accidentally Installed AP-354s on Eth1

Hi all,

We had some installers accidentally install AP-345s on Eth1 instead of Eth0, with the exception of a few. When the ones on Eth1 are provisioned with Instant, or join an existing Instant cluster, they go offline.

1. Is there a way to changed the wired config so they will continue to work after provisioned?

2. Is there any possible way to gain access to those that have gone offline, remotely? (seems the answer is no, but if there's any kind of ssh or telnet or PoE+ power level magic that can factory reset them or edit them, that'd be amazing).

Most of these are very remote and difficult to get to and costed us a lot to have installed

Re: Accidentally Installed AP-354s on Eth1

Can you confirm the exact model of the AP? Are you referring to the AP345?

You can change the E1 wired port, however this means that if you need to use E1 on the APs connected with E0 you will have configuration issues.

The only way to reset these would be via physical access to the AP.

It would be proper to correct the mistake and install these all with E0 connected.

This is not a technical solution, but if the installers were given specific, documented instructions to connect to eth0 and they didn't, then they should really go back and fix it at their own cost.
