    Hi All,

I have 2 Aruba Controllers in Active-Active redundancy configuration. They are running two instances of VRRP and each controller acts as the primary for one instance and backup for the other.

I found that the controller configuration are not synchronize so I need to input the configuration twice on each controller. Do I miss some steps or this is a consequences of using Active-Active redundancy?

    Thanks,

    Niko

Do you need the capacity of one controller or two? If you only need an n+1, you should make it a master/backup master redundancy:

You point the APs at a single VRRP instance between the controllers.
Only a single controller will work at a time.
    Configurations will be synchronized.

If you need the capacity of two controllers, you need a master/local configuration where both controllers can actively terminate access points at the same time.

    Hi Collin,

If we use master/local configuration, both controler configurations will able to synchronize right?

    Thanks,
