    Hi there,

I have a IAP 365 with firmware 6.5.2.0. I live in Peru, but this IAP doesn't have the country code PE:

I needed to configure a non-default uplink management VLAN, and when I powered it on and connected to the WebUI to configure, the first window that appeared is the country code selection window. Because there was no PE option, I chose CO, and then I configured the uplink management VLAN.

Now I am going to join this IAP to an existing cluster of IAP 325 running firmware 6.5.2.0 with country code PE, and I wonder if any problem could happen because of the different country codes. I understand the new IAP 365 will download all the configuration from the master including the country code line, but because the IAP 365 doesn't support the PE code, maybe there is a problem when downloading the line "virtual-controller-country PE".

I will apreciate your answers. Many thanks.

    Regards,

    Julián

Regulatory certs to deploy the AP-365 in Peru have been available since May 1st only.

That was apparently good enough to ship the product, but the country is not yet supported in the 6.5.2.0 code.

You may need to upgrade to 6.5.2.1 when available.

When joining a cluster that has been configured for PE operation, the 365 will likely operate as an air monitor.

    Hi Onno,

Thanks for your interest. I need to install this type of IAP in customer site, it pays for it. Do you know when firmware 6.5.2.1 will be available? Do I have to open a ticket to support to speed up this new firmware?

    Regards,

    Julián

I've asked my colleagues in sofware product management to reply to your question.
