    Can alerts like AP up or down be configured on Aruba controller version 8.0?

    By default the controller will send out an snmp trap to an NMS when APs go up and down if you define it with this:  https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_86_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/manage-utilities/conf-snmp.htm

     

    This command will show the list of traps that are being sent out:  https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_86_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/1cli-commands/sh-snmp-trap-lst.htm?

     

    The controller itself cannot send out emails, however.
