We have a 7210 controller with several AP225 for our campus deployment. When i tested the guest captive portal setup on an Andriod, the guest login page is pulled automatically once they connect to the Guest SSID. They did not have to open a browser. On the other hand, on an iOS device, we have to go manually open the browser to get the guest captive portal login page to open. Is there a way to get iOS devices to open the guest captive portal page automally when they connect tot he Guest SSID?

    Thanks,

    Chan

Make sure in the Captive Portal authentication profile that you do not have "Bypass Apple Captive Network Assistant" enabled.

Below is our existing captive portal profile. Are you saying to remove the command "apple-cna-bypass"?

    !
    aaa authentication captive-portal "ABC-Guest"
       default-role "DNR-Guest-auth"
       default-guest-role "ABC-Guest-auth"
       server-group "Clearpass-group"
       redirect-pause 1
       no logout-popup-window
       protocol-http
       login-page "http://1.2.3.4/guest/guest-registration-page.php"
       no enable-welcome-page
       apple-cna-bypass
    !
