Aruba 6 Vs 8

    Hi All,

     

    1) Do you know if the MCM-MD configuration is similar to master/local?

    In Aruba 6 - Master - Local setup, local Controller will server the APs 30days even if it is not getting licenses from Master/License server is the same way in Aruba 8.

    2) Will we get the Evaluation licenses in Aruba 8 also?

    3) I am referring the  Aruba 8 CLI guide not seeing any differences as compared to 6, could you please let me know if any major CLI command usage difference between 8 and 6.

    4) is it Mandatory we need to use migration tool while upgrading 6 to 8, as I have less config, can I do it manually after upgrading it to the 8

    1.  Yes and Yes

    2.  Yes.

    3.  Not in MCM

    4.  Not mandatory.  It can be configured manually.  When you upgrade fro v6 to v8, it wipes the controller configuration.
