    Hello,

Is it possible to  turn off Aruba 7205 LIC-RFProtect licences usage?

Our client want's to buy 7205 controllers and user LIC-AP and LIC-REF licences only,  is it possible to  turn off ArubaOS RFProtect module and do not use LIC-RFProtect licences, because all guides says LIC-AP=LIC-PEF=LIC-RFProtect. Client argument is that, he does not care about WIDS/WIPS security.

You do not need to purchase a RFP license if you do not require it. The guide references that all license limits must match the AP count. For example if you had 10 APs, then you would have 10x LIC-AP, 10x LIC-RFP, 10xPEF.

If the license is not installed the feature is not activated.

But where to turn off LIC-RFP licence requirment, because controller do not allow to add new access points to controller. Which ap group  profiles have to be removed, cleaned or changed to turn off LIC-RFP licence requirment?

If it is an AOS6 box, delete the RFP license if it is an AOS8 disable the
    RFP under your License Profile.
