Hello Dears,
i want to upgrade my aruba controller. My Aruba controller OS version is 6.3.1.15 . i see this note in Aruba OS 8.0 sofware download page.
note is:
ArubaOS 8.0 is a major release and incorporates features which are not compatible with earlier releases. Please review release notes and consult your local Aruba representative before upgrading live production networks. ArubaOS image for 7000 series controllers.Only install if you have a Mobility Master. |

if i upgraded my controller which problems will be happen? Whats your suggestion?
Thanks
Thanks
The ArubaOS 8.0 software upgrade completely wipes the configuration of your device, so it is not an upgrade. It is considerably different from ArubaOS 6.x, so you should have a lab controller to install it on

The ArubaOS 8.0 software upgrade completely wipes the configuration of your existing controller, so it is not an in-place upgrade. It is considerably different from ArubaOS 6.x, so you should have a lab controller to install it on FIRST before deploying it.
