Aruba Forgot Password

    Dear All,

     

    How to reset Aruba 650? Because I forgot the password.

    Password Recovery

     

    Please login using console with a serial cable (e.g. you must be infront of the controller):

    Login : password

    Password: forgetme!

     

    Then go into enable mode with pwd “enable”

    Config terminal

    Mgmt-user admin root

     

    <hit enter and it will ask you for a new root password>


    logout and login back in

     

    Then wr mem

     

    Then power off/on

    Is there any other ways to reset the password? Such as by pressing the stop button at the controller?
