Aruba IAP 205

    Hi ,

     

    In Aruba Iap 205 dashboard i got some IP is assigned to some device,

    I am not getting what those IP's.

    Pls refer attched snap.

    Those 169.254.x.x addresses, which is an APIPA address. Essentially a self-assigned IP address as the client cannot obtain one via DHCP.

     

    How are the clients obtaining an IP address that VLAN segment? Is the DHCP server working, does an ip-helper need to be configured? Do you have the relevant VLAN's available on the trunk port for the IAP?
