Aruba OS 8.3 - Fair Access

    Hi Airheads,

     

    I have switched to a Mobility Master solution on ArubaOS 8.3, from a previous master/local-based solution on ArubaOS 6.5.4.6.

    On the old setup I had a Traffic Management with Fair-Access configures for both 802.11a and 802.11g traffic.

    My question is, do I have to configure this as well on the new ArubaOS 8.3?

    I think I heard somewhere, that ClientMatch does this automatically. Can anyone confirm this?

    You would still have to configure this in ArubaOS  8.x.  https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_83_Web_Help/Web_Help_Index.htm#ArubaFrameStyles/1CommandList/wlan_wmm-traffic-management-profile.htm

     

    The Traffic Management  feature is not directly related to ClientMatch.

    I will proceed to configure this on my 8.3 setup.
