    Hello everyone,

     

    I've heard that Aruba is going to concentrate on ArubaOS version 8 starting from next year. 

    So, I'm trying to self-study Aruba OS 8 with Aruba Controller 7005.

     

    But when I tries to create "WLANs" or "Roles & Policies", it give me weird popup as below.

    Does anyone has experienced an issue like above snapshot?

    Please share if anybody has solved this issue.

    The firmware version is 8.1.0.1.

    How did you setup the controller initially ? MD or Standalone ?

    I've chosen the Standalone mode with Full-setup.

     

    Also, It's not possible to provision the AP as well.

    I should have known that I had to see the Aruba official support first...

     

    I'll try with latest release from following link.

    Had upgraded from 6.5.x to 8.2 and faced this issue and other issues too. WLAN creation was not working.

    Found out that to create a WLAN you would need a PEF license now.

    After trying for 2 days have restored it back to 6.5.x.

     

    Anyone has got a solution for using 8.2.0 firmware with AP license only.
