    It's in the 7.2 user guide - http://support.arubanetworks.com/DesktopModules/Bring2mind/DMX/Download.aspx?TabId=77&DMXModule=512&Command=Core_Download&Method=attachment&EntryId=10228&PortalId=0

My understanding is the switch forms a gre connection to your controller and creates a "dynamic" vlan for each tunneled port. I had to create and ipsec tunnel, which then tunnels the GRE, as the switch accesses the controller via the Internet (in my case).

Each tunneled port then uses the 802.1x configuration on the controller

You can refer to this doc.

    http://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_61/ArubaOS_61_UG/Mux_config.php#XREF_20222_Configuration

There is an example with configuration as well. This was first support on AOS v6.1.x,
