I want to know if "Aruba Virtual controller" is capable of creating an end to end GRE tunnel for guest traffic.  I have a setup like this.

 

Ap--------------vController (in Cloud)-----------DMZ controller -------FW---->

Are you referring to the Virtual Mobility Controller?

 

Yes, I want to deploy this controller in Azure cloud and one in DMZ.

Ok. Yes, the virtual mobility controller is able to create a GRE tunnel to another controller over the Internet.

 

I'm not sure why you would want to set it up in this fashion though but I guess you have an idea.

Well we are moving our data center to cloud, we want to move wireless also to same cloud. Like a private wireless cloud.

Just wanted to confirm if virtual mobility controller to virtual Controller tunnel is possible . What about the other features? Does virtual Controller supports all the classic feature of physical controller or is there some difference?

Here's the datasheet. I'm not aware of any restrictions.

VMC and VMM are not currently supported in Azure (or AWS, GCP, etc).

Could you please elaborate why VMC and VMM are not currently supported in Azure? We have VMspace in Azure and a Virtual instance can be deployed on VM. We need to know technically why it is not possible How to achieve this requirement?

Any more info on this? Very interested in being about to deploy a mobility controller in either Azure or AWS.

Is there any word when VMC and VMM are available in the AWS or Azure Market Place for use in their public cloud offerings?
