    Hi Community,

I want to know which equipment is compatible with ArubaOS 6? Also, which release do you advise me to choose?

    We got a cluster of 6000 M3 as the master, 2 slaves A3400, 1 A3200 and one A650. We use AP61, AP65 and AP93.

If any one got a matrix with the list of compatible equipement with the ArubaOS 6 , i will be gratefull to him.

    Thankx

All of the equipment mentioned is supported on all currently shipping ArubaOS versions. The 650 will not be able to run some of the newer features in 6.2/6.3 (AppRF, Airgroup, IFMAP to CPPM, AP image pre-load), but the others should be fine (assuming you have the 3200XM, not the original non-upgraded 3200).

First of all, thank you for the reply.

Secondly, which release do you advise me to choose. And how can i check if the A3200 that i have is MX or not?

    Thank you

Recommending a version is tricky. I typically advocate running the latest version, but with new features sometimes comes new bugs. If you are in a critical environment where wireless is used as a primary connectivity method, stay with the General Availability (GA) code. Right now, that?s 6.2.1.2 or 6.1.3.9). If you can take a chance on a non-GA code set, use 6.3.0.0. You get the newer features that might help your network run more optimally.

Sorry I can't point you to a single version as a recommendation. There are a bunch of variables that go into selecting the right code.

No problem. I just want to get access to release not but i can't!

The last question is how can i know if the A3200 is MX or a non-upgrade version ?

    Thankx you both
