Am using the netsh wlan show interfaces command to try to identify which AP I am associating too and its giving me a BSSID which I thought was the Mac of the AP but they are different. Hope this makes sense. Am I using the wrong command?., Thanks in advance.

    Harry.

An AP has multiple BSSIDs based on the SSID that you connect to and the band.  It will not equal the wired mac, but will be a number of bytes offset...

Thanks Colin, so you cannot tell from the BSSID to what AP you are connected too.

You would have to cross-reference the BSSID in the Netsh command with the "show ap bss-table" output on each AP.
