    Hi,

I've created a preliminary design for a greenfield outdoor area that has a large number of access poitns in either mesh portal or mesh node mode.

What are the best practices to validate the design in terms of expected coverage and interference? Is there an Aruba planning tool that can provide a simulation or prediction of the expected outcome?

    Thanks in advance.

ou can register at outdoorplanner.arubanetworks.com but please read the user guide and understand what you're visualizing. Bad info in will give bad info out.

Otherwise, the mesh topology should be drawn out, link budgets calculated based on EIRP and FSPL to calculate estimated speeds (depending on config), etc.
