MM 8.4.0.2
Found this post from 2017 regarding the blacklist feature:
https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Wireless-Access/Blacklist-by-MAC-address/m-p/165752#M35249
Also checked the CLI reference guide:
https://h20628.www2.hp.com/km-ext/kmcsdirect/emr_na-a00065463en_us-1.pdf
I'm under the /mm context. When I type
show ap client status 84:25:3f:Od:98:ba
it says:
(host) [mm] #show ap client status 84:25:3f:Od:98:ba ^ Error : Invalid MAC address. Expected format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
also:
(host) [mm] #stm add-blacklist-client 84:25:3f:Od:98:ba Invalid MAC address:84:25:3f:Od:98:ba
I don't see how that can be an invalid MAC address. I looked it up online and it comes back as a valid MAC.
Thanks

EDIT
Did you try executing those commands on the MD, instead of the MM?
That should work. I am not sure why the mac address is not working.

Got it. I get the same error in 8.5.
Let me check.

your MAC address is:
84:25:3f:Od:98:ba
where you have typed "Oh-d" rather than "zero-d"
Just a typo methinks.
