Has anyone run into issues with broadcast filter ARP and all?  We just upgraded from 3.4.0.4 to 5.0.4.0 and ran into all kinds of issues with WOW connectivity and broadcast.  WOW's would never get an IP address.  We never had broadcast filter ARP or all on before the upgrade but now it's on 3 of 4 SSID's.  The WOW's would not work until broadcast filter ARP was turned on.  I think it was VoIP proxy ARP before version 3.3.  Also, I'm seeing broadcast from some APS and not from others.

No other changes were made except for the upgrade.  No increase or decrease of clients and the issues were immediately after the upgrade.  Within an hour of turning broadcast filter ARP on, all of issues went away.

We have around 1200 AP,s,8 6000 controllers, and 3000 clients.  APS are a mix of AP 70's and AP 125's.

What is the role that the user gets when the device connects?

I have never seen that.  Maybe someone can comment on that.
