CP with apple IOS 7.0

    Recentemente nossos usuário que utilizam o IOS 7.0 ou 7.2 com os dispositivos APPLE, estão enfrentando um problema que não era comum. Ao selecionar o SSID da nossa rede "guest"  o captive portal abre para autenticação, após o usuário autenticar-se uma nova tela do CP é aberta, tendo o usuário que se autenticar novamente ou simplesmente fechar a segunda tela e o dispositivo conecta normalmente na rede.

     
    Esse problema acontece somente nos dispositivos com o IOS 7.0 ou acima, nos outros como android, Windows, e MacOs  e IOS 7.0 abaixo o comportamento é normal.
     
    Utilizamos a versão ArubaOS 6.2.1.3 com certificado WildCard para o CP em nossas controladoras, temos uma Master e outra stand-by com mais 12 controladoras locais, todas do modelo 3400.

    Recently our user using iOS 7.0 or 7.2 with APPLE devices, are facing a problem that was not common. When selecting the SSID from our network "guest" opens the captive portal for authentication after the user authenticates to a new screen CP is open, the user having to log in again or simply close the second screen and the device normally connects the network .
     
    This problem only happens on devices with iOS 7.0 or above, other like android, Windows, MacOS and IOS 7.0 and below is normal behavior.
     
    We use the version with ArubaOS 6.2.1.3 WildCard certificate for CP in our controllers, we have a Master and one stand-by over 12 local controllers, all of the model 3400.
    Someone has gone through this kind of problem?

    We have added an Apple captive portal bypass feature in the captive portal profile in 6.3.

    So that is below 6.3 can not do anything?

    Did you resolve this problem with ios 7.x?

    We have the same problem.

     

    And, Auto-Login of iOS config works for you?

    it shows you how to make a whitelist that supports the newer URLs that IOS7 tries to use to find if it's behind a captive portal. Use this in lieu of the newer CNA bypass feature if you are on older controllers.
